'In this village, under the auspices of the Sri Vasavi Seva Sangham and with donors' contributions, a Sri Vasavi Kanyaka Parameswara Swamy temple and a Gangaanamma temple (kuladevata of the Kanamarlapudi lineage) are being built. Devotees gave the ten cents of land needed... the Rs. 25 lakh required for the two temples came from devotees as donations. Idol installation in both temples was to be held in August 2014.' Individual donor names given in the source have been omitted.
