Sri Vasavi Kanyaka Parameswari Alayam, Bellampalli
Temple · high confidence
Dedicated Telugu Wikipedia article. Bhoomi puja for the temple was performed in 1998; after construction was complete the idol-installation (vigraha pratishtapana) festival was held on 21 February 2000. The article states the temple was built under the auspices of the Arya Vysya Sangam and that worship follows Arya Vysya rite because Kanyaka Parameswari is the community's caste deity. Three sub-shrines stand in the compound: a Shivalayam, an Anjaneyaswamy temple and a Lakshminarayana Swamy temple. Annual temple day, Tulasi Kalyanam, Shiva-Parvati Kalyanotsavam, Mata Jayanti and Vasavi Mata Atmarpana Dinam are observed; Dasara, Deepavali and Karthika Pournami festivals are run by the Arya Vysya Yuvajana Sangam of Bellampalli together with the Vasavi Mahila Sanghams. The article calls it the most reputed such temple in the district. Also carried in a district temple guide (listed under Adilabad, pre-2016 boundaries), which notes heavy Friday and Tuesday attendance.
