high confidence
Major Rama kshetram on the Godavari, encircled by the river; the official district page calls it 'a sacred place that attracts lakhs of devotees from all over the world'. The Khammam district page records that Kancherla Gopanna (Bhakta Ramadasu), then tahsildar, constructed the Bhadrachalam Seeta Ramachandra Swamy devasthanam.
Sri Bhadrachala Kshetra Vasavi Kanyaka Parameswari Arya Vysya Nityannadana Trust
Trust ·
medium confidence
Arya Vysya perpetual free-meal (nitya annadana) trust serving pilgrims at the Bhadrachalam kshetram, on Market Road. Listed in three independent community registers: the Telugu register at vaasavi.net ('sri bhadrachala kshetra vasavi kanyaka parameswari aryavysya nityannadana trust, Bhadrachalam, Khammam district'), the district-wise English list as entry 38 under 'I) KHAMMAM DISTRICT', and the aryavysyasangam.com directory under 'Bhadrachalam, Khammam District'. Bhadrachalam mandal moved from Khammam to the new Bhadradri Kothagudem district in 2016, so the registers' 'Khammam district' is the pre-2016 label.
