Foundation stone laid 1986; the idol was consecrated in 1988 on Vasavi Kanyaka Parameswari Jayanti; the temple has since held its rajatotsavam (silver jubilee) and the article describes it as one of the best-known Kanyaka Parameswari temples in the state. It follows the standard Arya Vysya pattern of Kanyaka Devi and Nagareswara Swamy enshrined in a single complex, the latter manifest as a jyoti sphatika linga, with the utsava murti on a separate pedestal in the mukha mandapam for daily kumkuma pujas. Sub-shrines listed: Vindhya Vasini Nagareswara Swamy, Konakamala Janardhana Swamy, Lakshmi Narayana Swamy, Jnana Saraswati, Dasanjaneya, Navagraha, Radhakrishna and Subrahmanya.
